Engfeed / Monkey Freedom Fighters disbands after winning only 4 of 16 matches
Monkey Freedom Fighters has disbanded only a month after being created. The team which included Wehsing ‘SingSing’ Yuen and Sebastien ‘7ckngMad’ Debs failed to pose a challenge to fellow teams in their region, and following elimination in the open qualifiers for the Fall Majors as well as being unable to reach Stage 2 of The Defense, have decided to call it quits.
Engfeed / Not a fan of the new Armory? Valve's decided to fix it /roll
The Armory received a make-over as part of the 6.85 update last month, although the default layout left much to be desired in terms of usability, leaving some players keen for it to return to the way it was before. However, Valve has done the next best thing and added a Collection tab to the Armory, which allows the player to customize the layout of their items. You can even revert to the Source 1 Armory!

The directly invited teams for The Defense season V have been announced featuring the ESL One New York 2015 Champions, Vega Squadron and Virtus.Pro.
Engfeed / Team Archon give 747 clearance to fly, but crash and burn in the Open Qualifiers
Team Archon announced the departure of Eric ‘747’ Dong, replaced by Jaron ‘monkeys-forever’ Clinton, losing their direct invite to the Americas qualifiers for the Frankfurt Major. They were then eliminated from the Open Qualifiers.

Engfeed / Frankfurt Dota Major Main Qualifiers casters and talent revealed
The list of talent and casters for the Frankfurt Dota Major Main Qualifiers has been revealed. Staff from ASUS ROG DreamLeague, joinDOTA and Moonduck Studios will travel to Sweden to cover two of the four regional qualifiers from the Monster Energy DreamHack Studios. The hub will provide coverage of the European and Chinese main qualifiers, taking place between October 10-14.

MLG have announced the groups for the MLG World Finals – the upcoming LAN scheduled to take place at the Ernest N. Morial Center in New Orleans, LA, between October 16-18. Six invited teams – MVP.Phoenix, Team Secret, CDEC Gaming, LGD Gaming, Evil Geniuses, Virtus.Pro – and two qualified ones from the European and North-American regions – (monkey) Business and Cloud 9 – will compete for a +$250,000 prize pool and the championship title.
