Game Show introducing a new Cup into the Dota 2 tournaments circuit

Game Show Global eSports Cup will be held over the course of 2015-2016 featuring three seasons with a total prize pool of 1 000 000 USD.

Spread across of one year the three seasons of Game Show Global eSports Cup will have a starting prize pool of $ 330 322 each and will conclude with a grand final LAN event.

The tournament will include online open qualifiers for five regions, having Europe and CIS as two distinct ones in addition of North America, China and SEA. After the open qualifiers are played two group stages will take place from which the best regional teams will proceed to playoffs.

Slots distribution over the regions:

The first season qualifiers are set to start this month on September 15th while the studio LAN finals will be played in December with the special mention that the event will be scheduled with regard to teams’ involvement in Major Championship by Valve. For the moment it is planed that from 7th to 10th of December the best eight teams resulted from qualifiers and group stages to travel to Vilnius –Lithuania at the Game Show professional studios to play the playoffs. The top four teams will be then playing at the Grand Finals LAN event in Moscow.
