Global eSports Cup: the decider playoffs to begin

Started on September the 15th, the first Cup of the three scheduled over a year has now reached the decider playoffs phase for the Vilnius LAN studio.
For some of the teams left in the competition, reaching the Vilnius LAN playoffs stage is crucial as they can already look at a $15,000 prize money secured for themselves. The final playoffs LAN stage will take place from 30th November to 6th December at the Game Show studios in Vilnius, Lithuania and will determine which teams will be advancing for into the grand finals that will be held at DreamHack Moscow in December this year.
After a long groups stage qualifier process that is not even over yet for all the regions to an unbelievable five way tiebreaker in the Chinese groups we can now look at some of the results at this first edition of Global eSports Cup.
Europe
This possible Vilnius LAN playoffs stage marks the debut of the new London Conspiracy roster. Princess Jellopy was picked up by LC during the first group stage of GeC and it seems to have worked well for the team as they are now one of the four European teams that made it to final stage before the Vilnius LAN. They will be joined by 4Clover&Lepricorn and No Logic Gaming.
For the fourth spot a tiebreaker match has to be played and it will come down to either STARK eSports orTeam Alternate to claim the last ticket for Vilnius. When all four teams are known the best-of five online playoffs will start with the best two teams securing the Vilnius studio LAN playoffs ticket.
South East Asia
In the SEA group stages a lot of upsets have happened and the some of the main favorites have been eliminated. A team that stood out thought the weeks is the Malaysian squad Panglima(5) who had an amazing performance, defeating all the contenders in this region. MvP.Phoenix and Mineski were taken by surprise by Pang5 who managed to advance further into the competition. They will be joined by Signature.Trust, TnC and MvP.HOT6ix.
China
For the Chinese region a truly baffling five way tiebreaker has occurred in group A. Invictus Gaming, CDEC, FTD.B, TongFu and Wings Gaming are now tied on the second place of the group with six points (2 wins, 3 losses). Until the tiebreaker matches will be played the other three teams emerging from group stages are NewBee, FTD and DK Scuderia.
CIS
Having a special region to play in,Team Empire are the first to secure their LAN presence at Global eSports Cup after defeating SFZ and they are now waiting for the second CIS team to be decided between the ESL One NY Champions, Vega Squadron and HellRaisers.
AmericaSame as SEA, the US region has only one ticket available for the Vilnius LAN. From all the group stages CompLexity, Void Boys, Elite Wolves and Leviathan are the four teams that will have to fight for the one slot.
