Cloud9 beat Digital Chaos 3-0 to secure themselves a spot in the Nanyang Championships.
The American Qualifiers for the new SEA tournament Nanyang Championships is over and Cloud9 beatDigital Chaos three games to zero to secure a spot in the LAN finals. The fight for the title of the second best American team is real and both C9 and DC are legitmate contendors but in this match Cloud9 completely outclassed DC and won 3-0. C9 looked extremely dominant throughout the qualifiers and didn't drop even a single game.
These two teams will face each other again tonight in the second round of the ESL One New York Qualifiers at 22:00 CEST. Its very likely the winner of this match will go on to win the entire qualifiers and secure a spot at ESL One Super Week.
The Nanyang Championships will start on October 26th, feature Team Secret, Fnatic, LGD, VP, VG, Virtus Pro and a $200,000+ prize pool. It'll be interesting to see how C9 perform against top international competition.
