CIS domination at MLG EU qualifiers

Three CIS teams survived after the first qualifier round of MLG World Finals while the season one winners, Team Empire are waiting their opponents directly into the semifinals.
Four teams have been eliminated right form the first round of qualifiers; the Geek Squad Golden Boys lost their game versus Vega Squadron, SingSing’s stack, Monkey Freedom Fighters have been eliminated byNa’Vi while Alliance seem to have difficulties hitting their stride as they got eliminated once again in the first round, this time around Vanskor‘s squad CIS Rejects being their executioner.
The only one non CIS team who managed to reach the second round of qualifiers are Monkey Businesswho knocked out the recent winners of Alienware Area 51, 5JuNGz after a tense series in which all three games were played. By the looks of their recent games it seems that BigDaddy-N0tail not only enjoys his role change fully but he is also the main factor for his team's success. Reunited with his long-time friend Tal 'Fly-Simba' Aizik, N0tail has finally found a team that he can truly feel comfortable with.
Monkey Business are facing a tough series in the next round, The ESL One NY qualifies winners, haveing to face Vega Squadron while the MLG seson 2 winners Ninjas in Pyjamas are seeded into the semifinals.
At the end of today we will find out who will join Empire and NIP in the semifinals.

- September 17, 17:00 CEST Na’Vi vs CIS Rejects
- September 17, 20:00 CEST Vega Squadron vs Monkey Business
The winner of the EU qualifiers will secure a ticket for Major League Gaming’s 100th live event that will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans starting from October 16th to 18th.
