SmAsH, VaNn and StingeR leave Not Today

Juan “VaNn” Tito, Freddy “SmAsH” Sina, Steven “StingeR” Vargas leave the Peruvian team Not Today. The trio of players will be remaining together under a new team, while the organization have already replaced the players to be announced September 1st.
Not Today made the official announcement on their facebook page yesterday. Although the three core players have just departed the team, their replacements are already participating in the ESL One New York NA Open Qualifiers.
In view of this event, and with the responsibility of our representation and what this entails, it has not been an easy task, but we did it and we proceeded to restructure the team with new professional players, who are currently in practice and playing the qualifiers of The Esl New York.This 1st of September, we will announce the squad of not today, players that from now on you will represent us. They will fight for the international representation. The new players will be traveling from their cities to join the gaming house in Peru, to participate in the various upcoming events.

Earlier in June, Not Today released Ricardo “Mstco” Román and Jesús “Ifrit” Valencia from their roster and promised to announce the new line up in July, which did not happen. With the trio’s departure, the team will be reformed with five new members.
According to the organization’s statement, Juan “VaNn” Tito, Freddy “SmAsH” Sina, Steven “StingeR” Vargas have chosen to leave the team and accepted an offer from a Brazilian organization. There has been no official word from the three players yet on their new ventures, but they are currently competing in the ESL One New York NA Open qualifiers under the team name Sector V. The roster also includes previous Not Today members Ricardo “Mstco” Román and Alex “Masoku”Dávila.

Not Today is a Peruvian team that has had a strong presence in the Americas region. After numerous roster changes and a few organization and sponsor changes, mainstay Freddy “SmAsH Sina, and his squad were picked up the organization in June 2014. The addition to roster occurred in March 2015 with the addition of Steven “StingeR” Vargas to the squad, which was the last change until June 2015 when the team released Ricardo “Mstco” Román and Jesús “Ifrit” Valencia.
Under the Not Today tag, the team won several minor tournaments, such as The Battle Fury, joinDOTA League/Season 3/America, Elpadrinoth American Cup, BoraDota Stars and Dota Regions Season 2. Not Today took part in several major LAN events, such as The Summit 2 and 3 and the MLG Pro League Season 1. They participated in the TI5 Americas qualifiers and placed third in their group. Most recently they placed second in the World Cyber Arena 2015 American Qualifiers and first in the Awqa League.
