Alliance drop out of Summit 4 Qualifiers

Alliance forfeited their match versus Virtus.Pro, withdrawing from The Summit 4 European Qualifiers due to heavy time constraints in the next coming month. This is the second tournament that the Swedish team has withdrawn from in the last few weeks, after taking leave from the Game Show Global eSports Cup group stages.

Alliance has recently had renewed success with their roster. The Swedish team has recently qualified for the Frankfurt Major and WCA 2015.

The team is in good standing so far in DreamLeague Season 4, currently undefeated in StarLadder i-League, and also at the top of their group in The Defense 5, with a 7-1 score.

A few weeks ago, they withdrew from the Game Show Global eSports Cup Season 1 citing “private reasons within the team”.

Alliance

Alliance revealed their revamped roster for the new season, in time for the roster lock for the Frankfurt Major. The all-Swedish lineup includes Johan “Mynuts” Andersson and Gustav “s4” Magnusson – who had been expected to return to the Alliance family. s4 resumed the captain role, while Mynuts assumed his place in the support role.

Alliance roster:
  • Sweden Gustav “s4” Magnusson
  • Sweden Jonathan “Loda” Berg
  • Sweden Joakim “Akke” Akterhall
  • Sweden Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg
  • Sweden Johan “Mynuts” Andersson
